Privacy Notice
Who is responsible
ROMU Studios Oy (Business ID 3659221-2), Maitorpankulma 3, 01700 Vantaa, Finland, is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. For privacy enquiries and requests, use the email link below.
Email enquiries
When you email us, we receive your email address, name if provided, message, attachments and any other information you choose to send. We use this information to respond, discuss potential projects and manage related correspondence. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry.
Why we process information
We handle general enquiries and business correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interests in communicating with prospective clients and running the studio. When you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, or we perform that contract, we rely on contractual necessity. Correspondence with representatives of organisations is handled under our legitimate interests. Where applicable, we retain records to meet legal obligations, including accounting requirements.
Website visits and fonts
Webflow hosts this website. Delivering and protecting the site involves processing technical connection information, such as your IP address and information sent by your browser. The current site also requests Manrope and Inter fonts from Google Fonts; those requests disclose your IP address and browser request information to Google. Our purpose for technical processing is to deliver a functioning website and protect it, based on our legitimate interests.
Cookies and analytics
We have not added advertising pixels, visitor analytics, newsletter tracking or embedded music players to this website. Webflow analytics collection is disabled. This does not mean that visiting the site involves no technical data processing: hosting and font delivery still require connections to service providers. If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this notice and provide consent controls where required.
Service providers and international processing
We use Webflow for website hosting and Google Workspace for email. Google also delivers the website fonts. These providers and their infrastructure providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Webflow and Google Workspace publish data processing terms that include international transfer provisions, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data or a copy of those safeguards. Google Fonts processing is described in Google's privacy information.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry correspondence while handling your request and for as long afterwards as it remains necessary for relevant follow-up or an ongoing business relationship. We delete information when those purposes no longer require it. Records needed for contracts, statutory recordkeeping or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims may be kept longer, for the applicable obligation or claim period. Technical information is subject to the relevant provider's service retention practices.
Your choices and rights
You can request access to your personal data, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, subject to the applicable conditions. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract, the right to data portability may apply. If we rely on consent for a future activity, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not use your enquiry data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Contact us using the privacy email link to exercise your rights. We may need to verify your identity.
Complaints and providing information
You may complain to Finland's Data Protection Ombudsman or another competent supervisory authority. Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond or discuss a project without sufficient contact details and context.
Updates
This notice applies to this website and enquiries made through its email links. We will update it when our practices change. Last updated: 4 October 2026.
